Please keep in mind that moderation is the key. Healthy weight loss is 2-3 lbs a week. Rapid weight loss will ultimately result in a gain of all weight lost, plus a gain of additional weight.

Spread your calories out into 5 small meals a day to keep that metabolism burning.

Consume all, or most, of your carbohydrates throughout the day, before your evening meal. Carbohydrates are used for energy. You need energy in the day. You do not need energy to sleep. Consumption of carbs in your evening meal or before bed will only result in restless sleep and the conversion of unused carbs to stored fat. So keep that last meal to a low fat protein and some steamed veggies!
